The Company

Cosmopolitan Brazilian Wines, s.r.o was founded in 2004 as a new venture of the Cosmopolitan Central Europe, s.r.o., whose owner, Roman Vaněk, has been conducting business in Brazil since 1993.

Mr. Vaněk first began by importing Brazilian shoes to Central Europe and in 1996 with his partner company in Brazil (Cosmopolitan Exp. e Imp. Ltda.), founded companies that represent leading Brazilian shoemakers all over Europe.

Later, thanks to his experience in fine world cuisine, the best Brazilian wineries opened their doors for him. He decided to share his experience with other gourmets in Europe. Working with his partners, Mr. Jan Kobylák and Mr. Karel Sztogrýn, he established a new company importing wines (solely) from Brazil's most important producers.

The aim of Cosmopolitan Brazilian Wines, s.r.o. is not only to sell Brazilian wines but also to extend the knowledge of both experts and the general public about Brazil, Brazilian cuisine and above all, the undisputable craftsmanship of Brazilian winemakers.
