Third International Competition of Brazilian Wines

In brazilian tropical resort named Guarajuba, about 50 kilometers from Salvador city (BAHIA), The Third International Competition of Brazilian Wines and Cachacas were held on days 16-20 of June, hosted with a co-operation Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and with an assistance of excellent magazine Vinho.

"Europe" nominated four jurors by Chief Executive Officer CMB Baudouin Havaux - from Great Britain, France, Germany and Czech Republic. South America completed the number of jurors untill 13 with a preference of Eduardo Viotti, the cheaf editor of magazine Vinho- from Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.

All together evaluated a houndred of vines, which won before a medal price on some national or international competitions. You can download

Cuvée Ostrava 2006

Brazilian wines got another great award at competition CUVÉE OSTRAVA 2006. Cuvée Giuseppe 2003 won excellent silver medal among all kind of wines. We are very happy, because Cuvée Giuseppe 2003 (Miolo) total rating was better then other wines of famous brands.

And also our company was succesful - we got price for "best compact collection of wines".

We are looking forward to next "CUVÉE Ostrava", to Dr.Krístek´s K.A.H.A.N. and to hospitality and great atmosphere of hotel ATOM and his director Mr.Barta.

We are glad that brazilian wines confirmed their quality again and showed their increase in credit among wine specialists.

The gold and silver medals on international competition Wine & Destilates 2006 in sparkling wines category won brazilian sparkling wines Casa Valduga Espumante Brut 2002 (silver medal) and Salton Volpi Espumante Ouro Brut 2002 (gold medal). Even on one of the most famous competions in the world Concourse Mondial de Bruxelles brazilian wines got 6 medals, which indicates great quality of brazilian winemakers.
